My Biggest Peeve

I hate Valentine’s Day. I absolutely dread it.  Luckily I made it straight through pretty much unscathed this year.
Why do I hate V Day so much you ask?
Well it’s not because I don’t have some one special to share it with , or because I don’t  recieve gifts or candies or dinner…
It’s because of god dammned stupid people who, although educated(sometimes) continue to say the word Valentine incorrectly.

Next time you hea someone say “Happy Valentimes Day” smak them in the mouth.

The word Valentine comes from St. Valentine, a real person who lived in the 2nd century

Valentines day refers to his name based various legends that evolved around his life…it does NOT refer to a “TIME” such as “its time for Valentime”

Honestly I don’t know why people say it that way and it trruly enrages me to hear it. ESPECIALLY when it is coming from someone who is fairly  well educated.

I absolutely hate it.

Breakfixt (breakfast)
Muffets (Muppets)
Acrosst (across)
one day I think I am going to completely freak the fuck out on someone for switing a letter in a word…someone needs to keep some $$ on the side to bail me out
